Here you can feel the peace and quiet when the early morning dew makes way for the first rays of sunshine. The view up to the Nockberg mountains makes pleasure-seekers and families eager to set off on their holiday acitivities. You can start your hikes over gentle alpine meadows to mountain peaks right from our Auszeit Alpine Chalet. On the way you’ll discover the impressive alpine flowers, such as gentian and alpine rose plus the varied animal kingdom with marmots, chamois… The landscape around the Karneralm can also be explored whilst mountain biking or nordic walking. Activities on offer in Ramingstein and the surrounding area ensure plenty of variety. An alpine holiday in Austria in summer allows you to experience nature at its very best.

Our hiking tips
Hiking tips starting from the Karneralm
Hike up to the Platschalm: From the Auszeit Alpine Chalet to the Karneralm car park, over the old lift track via the Hühnerleitennock to the Platschalm (alpine hut open from mid-June to the end of September, in October only on request), serving traditional Austrian delicacies, relax in the larch bath with herbs in the wood-cutter’s hut on request.
